Juanita Puckitt Baker

On October 24, 2008 Steve Baker & I will be celebrating 39 wonderful years together. We have lived in San Angelo most of those years, & this is where we have reared our two children, Eric & Stephanie Baker. Eric is married to Joell, & has two children, Weston Walcott & Elise Baker. He is owner/operator of Baker Resources in San Angelo. Stephanie lives in NY, NY where she is currently Director of Merchandizing for Bon Appetit Magazine. She is engaged to marry Brian Carden who is a graphic artist for the National Basketball Association. The two will be married in March of 2009 in Puerto Adventuras, Mexico.

I have been a homemaker & a community leader while rearing our children. I sang in our church choir & the Symphony Chorale for 14 years, served as chairman of almost every committee of the Symphony Guild, including past-president, on the San Angelo Symphony board for several years, was on the Angelo Civic Theatre board for 16 years, taught Sunday School & served as Altar Guild Directress at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, served in several offices for the Pocahontas Chapter of DAR, bridge clubs, etc., etc. This year I completed a four year Theology Course from the University of Sewanee entitled Education for Ministry.

Steve is a home builder & house designer. He has built beautiful homes in San Angelo & the surrounding areas. Currently he is designing houses for other builders, & is into investments. Steve has served on the vestry of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. He has a light-sport airplane, & is completing instructions this year to get his pilot's license.

We have two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. Keno is our male dog & Cash is our female. Both are well behaved house dogs who graciously allow us to live in their home & care for them. God is good!
