Carolee Snodgrass Britton

After graduating from UT in 1971 and moving to Houston in 1972, I held a variety of positions including positions at the Hyatt Regency Houston and Brock Entertainment Agency. I sort of fell into my first career - Retail Packaging Specialist and worked in Houston, Shreveport, and Austin and the Dallas Apparel Mart for almost 20 years.
My husband was also in the paper industry, and when he moved into management, I could not work for him or compete against him, so I worked at other distribution levels in the paper business.
When we moved to New Braunfels, I becane the state director for a private alternative school corporation for 6 years covering 4 cities and more than 10 school districts.
I have taught Marketing Education and served as a DECA Advisor since 2000 in NBISD. I have attended several DECA International competitions with my students.
We thoroughly enjoy our 2 granddaughters who live nearby in San Antonio. Our son recently moved to Charlotte, NC where he works for Blue Bell Ice Cream as a Territory Manager.
