Lois Chick
Hi to all my former classmates.
I live in Long Branch, NJ near the Windmill in West end!
Since retiring at the end of the July 2016, I have expanded my own business called Spiral Expressions Tie Dye. I've been making tie dyes since the early 1980s, however I stopped about 16 years ago.
Since my cancer treatment is completed, and I am cancer free, I decided to be creative again. I just love making tie dyes. The best part is that it's back in style. Please visit my FaceBook page, and check out all my artwork:

I still work 2 days a month as an Assistant and Office Manager for singer/songwriter/vocal music instructor, Jody Joseph (Who is really Jody Bongiovi-Jon Bon Jovi's first cousin). My job entails all sorts of thing including dealing with the technology in the office, graphic design of posters and info for concerts, helping with her students, communicating with parents, updating the jodyjoseph.net website, going to various gigs, merchandise sales & marketing, inventory and supplies, sending emails and general office duties. I am secretary for a non-profit, Heartstrings, which provides music lessons for underprivileged youth and adults.
I am heavily involved in the Asbury Park music scene and I get to go to a lot of great rock & roll shows. I'm so lucky to be able to live so close to the music hub at the shore. All I can say is, "Rock & Roll keeps me young."
I have a 40 year old son named Adam Kriney, who is a drummer in a Brooklyn band called "The Golden Grass." He lives in Brooklyn and he's very involved in the music scene there. The band completed their 4th major month-long tour in Europe in May 2016. On July 25, 2015 they had a major concert at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester NY, opening for Deep Purple, and it was awesome! I'm a proud mom!
I love going to the beach, however, I just cannot always make the long walk to Gunnison beach at Sandy Hook. I've spent the last 38 summers on the beach there.
A few years ago I joined a local beach club, dubbed "Little Monmouth" in Monmouth Beach. I get to spend the whole summer with all my cousins and it is so much fun. The youngest of my 10 little "great" cousins is 1 and the rest are all under 7 years old. My oldest cousin, their great-grandmother, is 85.
I'm looking forward to our next reunion! It's great so see so many of my former classmates on FaceBook! Feel free to friend me there or email me and say hello. [email protected]
