Hello All, This is so exciting...Mike you did a great job with this site!
Can't believe it's going to be "40" years..WOW where have they all gone...I still feel like I'm 17...
After high school I started working for The Singer Company in Elizabeth, NJ for about 8 yrs. There I met my husband...Tony, got married and soon after we started a business. He traines race horses...trotters and pacers, racing at the Meadowlands, Freehold etc.(Tony Monica Stables). I also worked for Engelhard Minerals & Chemicals in Iselin, NJ for about another 8 yrs as a Customer Service Rep for International Sales. In 1984 had my first child. I have 2 wonderful daughters, Christine now 23 -graduated from Rutgers University and now attending graduate school at Georgian Court University to become a school psychologist. Danielle now 21 - attending Brookdale and then will persue a teaching degree. I was married for 14 years and have been divorced for 19 years. I took some time off to raise my girls. I was president of the PTA and also a Girl Scout Leader. I had my children later in life so I really enjoyed being home with them. Went back into the work force and have been with the Law Office of William Larosa, which is a House Counsel for a major insurance company, for 12 yrs. My father passed away suddenly 3 yrs ago and my mother is suffering from dementia and alzheimers. She's living near me at an Assisted Living facility. It's funny how the roles reverse. Just an update: My mother passed away peacefully on March 31,2008.
This is the circle of life. Otherwise, life has been good! Enjoying our dog "BELLA" and cat "DION". Also, we just adopted another sweet kitty cat and named him "Mr.Lucky" and he sure is lucky because Bella and Dion took to him right away. Looking forward to our 2008 reunion!
