I would like to share some things about my great Kids!(adults Ugg!)Sarah,our eldest dauther at 23 has been nurcing at BC Childrens Hosptial going on two years now!She graudated from U.Vic with a Batcholrs of Science in Nurcing!She even took a few cources in Sweden in her final year!From U.Vic straight in full time work at Childrens!What more can a parent ask for(NO BIG TALK!)If your child or if can call a 6 foot 3 inch up 18 year old a child needs to use Childrens ask for Sarah on floor 3.Shes got pull!! Our second Son Jay at 21 is in second year at BCIT in Building Science.Physics Math (not my side) but he loves it! He is also getting married next year to his Kindergrten Sweety!Rachel is in 3 year at UBC in History and lives with my Dauther Sarah! Too Good!(Mothers Side)Our next is Meghan! She just turned 19 and told me about a great place she can now watch the Canucks!HELP Meghan is following in her sisters footsteps and persuing a Degree in nursing!(Whew home for five years yet)Who thought one would ever say that!Our youngest was Ross! Ross would be 16 now and I am sure up to aaaaall the crasy things we remmber!Ross passed away about 10 years ago from heart disese.He was born with a heart that was missing its left ventrical which lead us on a road that forever changed all of our lives! You would love him as he had a persoality far beyond his years very witty and funny dispite everything.At least 10 open and closed heart operations!He and hosptial bud were the first in BC to Go to Toronto for a heart transplant!TorontosSick Kids Hosptial had done under 10 transplants at that time and one could wait over a year for a match!We went but Ross was not well enough at the time.I must Thank now the David Foster Foundation for coming to the rescue at that time!They would pay morgage plane cost spending money ect.no questions asked! Thank you David Foster! We returned home to try to get Ross stronger but said good bye about a month latter. I am sure he would have made an awsome Nurse as well as he sure loved them!(A REAL SMOOTHY)He even asked on nurce to marry him but had to settle for going to her Wedding the day before he passed away. Miss Him. My Beutiful wife Colleen (whats she doing with me)just finished her degree in Child and Youth in the school of Human and Social Develoment at U.Vic.She also made the Deans list.(So again whats she doing with me!)(Also Kids mom side as I have to say!)Colleen is director of a support agencey that offers resources helps network, educates,has convenctions for profecionals and familys to meet ect. for familys that have children born with or aquried heart disese.
