Well, where to begin….After leaving high school, I tried working as a drywall taper in Squamish/Whistler area, thank gawd that ended after about a year. I then got hired on at the Macmillan Bloedel Box plant in NewWest, using Dave Cahill as a reference (Thanks Dave). Many years were spent working my way up from sweeping the production floor to finally running the presses. In 1999, I was hired on as the local “IT guy” (Systems Facilitator) for the New West Plant (I’ve always had a thing for computers in my spare time). As the years went by, I moved up in the IT group, to be the Network Administrator for all the western plants, and the Canadian MSSQL admin for all of Canada. We had gone through a number of American Owners over the years and as their policies washed up on our shores, I could see my career in the box industry was about to come to a halt. Well it happen in Sept 2014, I was packaged out from the company and now pleasantly semi retired. I am married to my loving and supportive wife (Carol), and have a grown Son (Heavy Duty Mechanic), and daughter Madison who is just finishing grade 11. Currently my days are filled with helping my wife run her custom embroidery business, doing contract Equine photography for Totem Photographics, and doing the odd free lance IT service (thank gawd for MS Windows OS). Looking forward to seeing everyone next year.
Cheers

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
