Today's Featured Biography
Jeffrey Owens
I just completed law school and am now studying to take the bar exam in February, which I am not looking forward to.
I have 3 amazing little people who constantly keep me on my toes and who keep me well grounded. My oldest, Raine is very duty-bound and is always the go-to kid. He loves reading and is heavily involved with martial arts. He is on track for black belt for sometime next year, if not the end of this year. Quentin is terribly rambunctious-too much like his old man, but everybody loves him. He is a leader in everything he does and alwasy gets what needs to be done, done. He loves everything outdoors and is duying to go hunting in Alaska, for grizzly bears. I can't imagine why. Kensington is an exact meld of the 2 boys. She is tiny, though. She's 3 and only weighs 25 lbs. She talks a ton and has a very analytical mind. She always gets on my case for yelling at the boys. She loves the beach and if she isn't streaking around the house, she is in her bikini and talks about Cocoa Beach and swimming with the sharks.
My wife is super patient with me. I tend to burn hot, for better or worse, but she always keeps me on keel.
As for myself, I travelled a bit after high school. All over the U.S. and then back to Europe spending a few years in Switzerland and France. I wasn't sure about going back to school but my wife talked me into it. We've been married for 11 years and I have been in school for 9 of those, but, almost done! Now for the bar exam.
I have been playing rugby for the past 15 years and founded my law school's team. The sad thing is, I don't feel "old" but I don't heal like I used to. This past season I tore a ham-string and a calf, but no broken bones, although someone cleated me in the groin and I didn't realize it until I got up off the ground and tried to walk. Talk about a wake-up call. Luckily it missed all the "vital parts," but man, it was a long time in healing. My wife said I was milking it.
