Sonny and I were married on New Year's Day in 1960. Had a daughter,Gwyn,in July 1961. We both worked at McJunkin Truck for years and then I bought a bingo hall in 1989. The state made me close it in 1996, something about it not being legal??? Of course we were paying 22% sales tax to the state at the time.
Chris (son) was born in 1981. Alesha (granddaugher) was born 1n 1987. All of our family has been a joy, even when they weren't.
I lost my dad on Sept. 11, 2003 (easy date to remember). And 9 months to the day, June 11, 2004, Sonny passed away. We had been married 44 years. So now it is just the 4 of us. We bought a liquor store in 1996, Liquor To Go, and Gwyn, Chris and I run it. Always been involed in family business.
This reunion should be fun, all I do is work, work, work. I have also been invited to the reunion at Siloam Springs, where I went to school until I was in the 7th grade. So this year I should see a lot of old friends.
