Today's Featured Biography
Jeff Buxton
I served as a Christian missionary in Yugoslavia from 1992-1994 during the Bosnia conflict. After returning to the states, I worked at Honeywell in Phoenix in the IT department. I served as a missionary again in Kosovo from 1998-2000. I married my beautiful wife, Jennifer, stateside in 2000. We met in Skopje, Macedonia. She was a missionary as well. Our daughter, Jadyn, was born in 2005. Our son, Judah, was born in 2007. I went back to work at Honeywell in 2000, and moved into Engineering - without the degree, or the pay, but it was a great opportunity to support my family. I returned to school at Arizona State University in 2003 and used Honeywell's tuition reimbursement benefit to finish my Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, in 2007 - all while working a full time software engineering job, and raising a young family. Whew! It was a busy time! I now work as a Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Collins in DFW, Texas. My family and I attend church at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. Life is good :-)
