Tune in,turn on, & drop out! The hippie subculture developed as a youth movement that began in the United States during the early 1960s and spread around the world.. It was hoped to bring radical change, unfortunately more were interested in sex, drugs, and rock & roll. (media host Kizoa)

I have been enjoying my retirement after working for what seems like forever. I worked in law enforcement for over 20 years as did my husband Klaus, he too is retired. Now we have started our own business, which we thought we would do for fun but it has turned into a full time job. After I left MHS I worked all kinds of odd jobs, waited on tables, worked for Bank of America, a roofing company, Vic Hubbards Speed and Marine etc; only to end up having a long career in the Department. I was also able to go to both Mt. Diablo College and Chaffey College, raise two beautiful children, who are the loves of my life (Michael and Mary). I am the proud grandma of two beautiful granddaughters, Alyssa and Kaitlyn. My life has had a lot of ups and downs but for the most part I have been very happy and continue to enjoy whatever comes my way. Hee-hee! In the future I would like to do more traveling. I especially enjoyed New York, Maryland and other parts of the East Coast. Although I have been to Hawaii several times, I have no desire to go back, too commercialized and too crowded now. I've always wanted to see London, Germany, France and Italy and have put them on my "BUCKET LIST". Not now, not with what is happening in our world but hopefully later down the road. I am a true Patriot, love our Country, Baseball and Apple Pie. Believe in God and enjoy the simple things in life. I really can't complain, life for the most part has been good to me. I am happily married, surrounded by a loving family and have wonderful friends and neighbors. It's all good!! And so it is!!!
