Skipping forward...After my children were at university I traveled extensively...Jordan, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Turkey, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, U.K., India, etc. on many trips. I really enjoy traveling and savoring the food, culture and meeting the people in the countries I visit.

I met my wonderful husband John 11 years ago and we actually dated while taking trips to Egypt, Italy, France, Mexico, Punta Cana, Caribbean Islands and we continue to travel every year on multiple trips....which is what we love to do. We have a wonderful family with two grown children (I love my daughter-in-laws) and 4 grandchildren. As a family we like to take vacations and travel together. Last year was Punta Cana, this year was the Grand Canyon and Nuevo Vallarta.

We moved to Henderson, Nevada from Fairfield, CA in 2006 with the idea of retiring here if only my hubby will stop being popular at work. I have my own (web based) business working from home and John, who is an I.T. Architect, has a contract with LA County. So we travel back and forth between Henderson and Los Angeles. (The 4 hour drive is long).

That, my friends, is a taste of our life...next year I'm taking John to Greece and Turkey..since he has never been...and it's one of my favorite places in the world (besides my favorite Hawaiian Island - Maui...and the Kapalua Plantation Golf Course.. oh yes... and I like the Makena Golf Course too. Yes, we do play golf. Soooo much fun to be had.

It's Scotland in 2016....so I can see my people..yes, the red haired people..there aren't many of us around here besides my Phillips cousins Denise (Rusty) and Diane...the rest of the Phillips cousins have brown hair.

I missed the recent reunion and hope to see you all at the next one.
