Today's Featured Biography
Annie Bridgeman Mitchell
I am currently retired and living in San Pablo, Ca. After graduation, I started a long and arduous career with the Federal Government. I worked for various agencies and the majority of my career was as an office manager with the Social Security Administration. I managed an office in Oakland, CA for seven years and an office in Santa Barbara, California for thirteen years.
I eventually married my high school sweetheart, Alfred Mitchell. We both have previous marriages and together we have four children (two girls and two boys) and seven grandchildren (five girls and two boys). I remained in the Richmond area until 1989 during which time I moved to the Paradise of the Pacific, Santa Barbara, California; retired in 2002 and moved to madera, California and back to Richmond in 2004.
I love to travel and have had the opportunity to travel throughout most of the United States including Hawaii and Alaska; Mexico, Canada, Paris, Greece, Israel, cruise extensively in the Caribbeans, Baja Ca, and the Mexican Rivera. My hobbies include reading, sewing, crafts (doll making) and enjoying the great outdoors. I like to hike in Wildcat Canyon and Tilden Park.
Since retiring I am more active in church and currently attending Bethel Bible College. Life has been good and I am grateful for good health, family, friends and another Class of '63 Reunion.
