Today's Featured Biography
Jamie Beatty Steele
Life is so good! Currently full time "mom"/grandma to my 6 year old grandchild, Ella. Must also mention little Isaiah, who is my 13 month old grandson,that I adore! Don't get him full time though...I was married 18 years and have 4 children who make me extremely happy (most of the time) :-) I am also blessed to have a wonderful boyfriend who takes excellent care of me and is a doll. I have enjoyed a bit of traveling-really broadens the horizons. Since high school, I have lived in Long Beach, Temecula, Seal Beach, Sunset Beach and currently Bakersfield. Yes, from surfing to saddles! My employment over the years has included a variety of interesting positions in the medical field (hospitals, offices, research) and short stints at times teaching elementary school in the private sector.So rewarding. Still love the beach and recently, for those of you who remember my high school sweetheart Ross Reynolds (passed away 12 years ago), I have recently been in touch with one of his sons - a real treat. Life is full of surprises, isn't it? My hobbies include Bible study and Christianity (in the true sense of the word, not so orthodox)... interior design, journalism (wrote a regular column for the Seal Beach Sun-so fun!), kickboxing, spending time with my kids, reading good books,being a magazine junkie,finding new restaurants that are cool, and of course, as earlier mentioned, I still love the beach. I love all my friends too, even if I don't often get to see them. That includes you!
