Sandy Wedekind DeKreek

After graduation I attended West Valley College while working full time at the commercial real estate firm CB Commercial.  When a position was offered to me at our Roseville, Ca office I jumped at the chance to work in a city that was full of new real estate opportunity. I continued studies at Sierra College in Rocklin, Ca. I spent most of my spare time hiking and backpacking in the sierra mountains so it seemed a natural fit for me to major in forestry. 

When another job opportunity was presented to work at the Voit Companies in Sacramento, my interest in a forestry career waned and the excitement of seeing new buildings develop from ground up grew. What a contrast, I know!  But I got the bug for being involved in major projects from the ground up all the way through property management. 

After a few years I moved on into commercial construction and never looked back. I started as a project assistant and eventually became a project manager. When my (amazing!) husband, Todd, and I married we decided it was time to take our project management experience and form DeKreek Construction, Inc.

Well 14 years and 4 daughters later we live in and have a thriving business in our cozy town of Folsom, California. My most rewarding career for sure has been raising our kids! With two daughters in college, one in 8th grade and one in 4th we are quite the busy family. Of our four talented cheerleader daughters, the two youngest are still cheering so most of our free time consists of practices, tumbling and games (and volunteering!). * I know some of you are doing the math and yes, our two oldest girls came from our first marriages. These lasted about two minutes so I won't bore you but we are so blessed to have our daughters as a result.!  It's a "his, mine and ours" situation.  Todd is my best friend and I am so thankful to be on this journey with him!

As a family we enjoy vacations in Tahoe and Maui, swimming, attending church, bbq'ing in our backyard, golfing and camping. I personally love to be able to be at home after school with my kids, work out, and feeding my crafting desires with scrapbooking, chairing school fundraisers and proms and volunteering. I truly believe we should honor the bodies God has given us so health and fitness has always been important to me!  My newest passion is helping others get healthy by introducing them to Plexus!  I have never been healthier and I absolutely love seeing my friends transform their lives with Plexus' amazing products!! I'm so thankful for Helen McFadden for introducing me to the business!

I am so excited to see so our Branham friends in October!
