Ok, so here's my deal...I went away to school (College of William and Mary in Virginia) had an awesome time, majored in Public Policy, rowed on the crew time, met a lot of great friends. I stayed in Virginia for one year after graduation, but missed the fam too much to stay long term. I moved back to the "V" in 2002, and began working as a teacher at Fairfield High (totally random).
I ended up loving it, and deciding that working in education was for me (as opposed to using my expensive degree, oops). I finished my credential, am one teeny little thesis away from my master's degree and am currently teaching at Vanden High. I started coaching basketball (couldn't stay away for long) three years ago, and I also coach cross country. In between all of that, I got married, got divorced (second, and hopefully last, oops), and built a house with my dad! That's right, we literally built the whole thing! It's out in the country (for those of you that knew me in high school, it's in the mini-orchard at the bottom of my parent's property. Definitely the only way a single teacher could afford a custom home on country property (gotta love parents), plus if any of you need tile work, siding done, flooring installed, or cabinets made, I can totally help!
So, although it is NOTHING like I would have expected it to be, my life is pretty awesome right now. I remarried this fall, and we are expecting our first child this summer! I am thinking of pursuing a doctorate in education so I can become a professor (then I won't have to take roll or assign detentions!) I've been putting off posting anything to this site, but looking through everyone's profiles made me think of old times. I would love to hear from any of you, and I hope you are all doing well.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
