Additionally, consulted several groups within Microsoft on regulatory compliance and risk management issues. No direct reports but managed outside consultants/law firms as necessary.

Hired when Bank of America purchased Sunbelt Savings in Texas. Reported to the Chairman/CEO and the Board of Directors. Responsible for regulatory compliance and Community Investment projects for the bank. Additionally, consulted with and assisted other subsidiaries in regulatory compliance. Directed outside consultants and supported 260 branches throughout Texas. Later managed the Community Affairs Program of the Credit Card bank in Phoenix.

Sunbelt Savings was the largest bank in the Resolution Trust Corporation’s Southwest Plan and managed $60 billion in assets of failed thrift institutions. Nationally recruited. Responsible for developing and implementing a formal regulatory compliance program.
