Today's Featured Biography
Christine Mitchell Cohun
Wow! Time has flown by since our 25th reunion. Jack And I are still teaching. I teach Art at two different elementary schools and Jack is teaching Health Education and Driver Education at the local High School.
We just became grandparents last year as our youngest daughter Kristel had a baby boy, Kurt, on 1/15/2007. We will be celebrating his first birthday this week. Kristel is 1 and 1/2 semesters away from graduating from St. Josephs College in Rutland and her and her husband just bought their first house in Springfield,Vt ( home of the Simpson's). She is hoping to be teaching English in two years. Our daughter Jennifer stated teaching English at the same school as her Dad,Jack. Our oldest daughter is the only one who ventured into something other than education. She is currently working as a Diplomat for the USA in Saudi Arabia. She should finish this stint in August and then after a year of training in Washington,DC will be on her way to Argentina for a two year stint with her husband, Brent, and their beagle ,Copper. Her husband is a mining engineer so they had to name the dog after a mineral. My husband Jack just finished his second Masters Degree. This time from Marlboro College in Vt. with the degree being in teaching with technology. He has no plans for retirement and would like to start a new teaching career in this area.Oh well that's enough for now. Hope to hear from all of you and read about you in this web site.Until then take care and stay happy.
