Today's Featured Biography
Pat Holmes Woodard
I am a 1972 graduate of Roosevelt High School and a graduate of the University of MD, European Division/College Park Division.
I went into the Army Dec 1974 and retired February 1995 where I continued and completed my college education in the early 1990's.
I worked for 10 more years after retirement and then became an entreprenuer. I have a marketing business; Woodard Enterprises. The website is www.quixtar.com. I am also a travel agent with Sapphire Cruises, https://www.sapphirecruises.com/p.woodard. Even though we specialize in group cruises, we are a full service travel business.
I married the same man twice, a union that lasted a total of 32 years. I have no two-legged children but I am the mommy of 3 beautiful cats, one named after my mom, Sparkie, and the God mother of William McIntyre's youngest son, Jaylen. I have other God children, nieces and nephews.
Two of my poems were published in the mid-80's, and I have been in the Madison's Who's Who for the past 4 years. It chronicles your achievements and accomplishments throughout your life.
I am currently living in Dallas, GA, almost an hour from the city of Atlanta. I moved here April 2, 2007 and I plan to stay until I just can't stay here any longer. So come on down and visit a sistah!
