Can't believe it has been 30 years. What a roller coaster ride it has been, escpecially the last 11 years.
My daughter, Tara and her college sweetheart Mark were married on Friday August 22, 2008. We had the most beautiful day for an outdoor wedding. Now hopefully grandchildren will soon come my way. Tara is an RN at Mass General in the burn unit and Mark in a civil engineer and license pilot for small planes.
Torin is a Senior in HS and has been accepted at Norwich University. He'll be starting this August. His first choice for a major was computer sciences but now he will be chaning his majoring in Nursing.
As you can see I am very proud of both my children.
The company I work for allows me to travel all over the world, even though it is a non-profit based in our capital city Montpelier. I have traveled to the Russian Far East in Siberia in the dead of winter, Moscow, Ukraine, Serbia and most recently to Macedonia and Kosovo. I never dreamed that I would be a world traveler while at BHS or UofD. I also never thought when taking Russian I would ever use it, but I am glad I did.
Prior to a divorce, after 23 yrs of marriage, I was given the chance to live in Kazakstan and Tajikastan and experience travel to Budapest, Prague, England and Scotland. The experiences of living in third world counties were eye openers as we in the US take so many things for granted, like clean water, turning our heat on and off and many more things.
Vermont is a lovey place to live with our 5 seasons: Long winters, mud season, spring, short summer and beautiful fall.
When I get a chance to play, it is rides with Leon on the back of his motorcycles and in the hot rod, 47 Plymouth 2 door sedan with the top chopped, he built by himself. I can't wait to drive his next project car - 55 T'bird.
Wish I could make it down for the 50th birthday party in May but won't be able to. Hi to all who will be attending.
If you have shots of interest to the class post them on Picasa, Flickr, etc.. with the tag "BHS77".

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
