Today's Featured Biography
Mike Odom
The Amazing Little Seafood outlet was purchased on October 20, 2006 by Mike Odom and Dan Johnson. Dan is the former manager of Bar Harbor Seafood in Orlando FL., as well as the former plant manager at both Sea Specialties and Tropic Star Seafood, both in Lakeland, FL. His introduction into the seafood business originated at Sexton's Seafood in Destin, FL. at which he was employed for the better part of ten years. Upon leaving Sexton's, management duties were passed on to his brother Mike, where he remained for another ten years. In 2004 Mike left Sexton's to start his own seafood company, Big Shrimp'N Seafood, which took orders via bigshrimpn.com, and overnight shipped them anywhere in the continental U.S. This method of seafood distribution had rarely been seen before, and flourished until 2006. Enter The Amazing Seafood Outlet, a small retail market in Melbourne, FL. The Outlet provided the opportunity for Dan and Mike to reunite, incorperating years of seafood knowledge and ideas into their very own market. With 33 years of experience between them, you can rest assured that whether it's retail, wholesale, or shipping, you'll always have an amazing experience. Amazing Seafood, the name says it all.
