Today's Featured Biography
Laura Ruian McMullen
I left Michigan in 1984, after I finished my Junior year in high school when my father retired and we were on our way to to a new life in sunny Florida. I started Gulf High School as a Senior - wasn't too terrible...Met several of you who made my transistion to Florida in my Senior year pretty easy. Julie, my youngest sister began Gulf High as a Freshman.
In 1988, I met my husband on a blind date and it was true love! We married in 1991, and had our first daughter, Megan in September 1992. She is now 13 years old. Three years later, along came our son, Matthew who is now 10 and then 2 years after that, we had our third and final child, another daughter, Emily, who is 8. The kids had an agent and did some print (modeling) work and 2 commercials. They're saving up for college already! We lived in Florida up until 4 years ago when we moved to Alabama (where we are currently living). Now they are just enjoying the lake that we live on. I have been a full time mother to them.
We opened our own supplemental health insurance company in Montgomery, Alabama 4 years ago, and it continues to run sucessfully. We offer critical care insurance to city and state employees on the payroll slots that have been granted to us.
I didn't realize that the 20th reunion was going to be early this summer - I wasn't able to plan that into my busy schedule...Are there any photos available on any website? I would love to hear from anyone - please feel free to email me! My email is [email protected].
(By the way - the photo shown is the most recent one I could find of my husband, Max and I when we were in Aruba in 2004.)
