Today's Featured Biography
Greg Gillespie
5/1/07. Well, where do I start?
I guess that since we walked the halls of our old alma mater, alot has happened to us all. In my case, I've become extremely wealthy, yes wealthy, but not with monetary riches or material possessions. But with a family that God could have only bestowed upon me. An incredible life partner of almost 25 years, my high school sweetheart, Robin (Lynn), and two of the most wonderful children any dad could be proud of. Jennifer who's 20 and Kevin who's 16. They all being heathly and wise beyond their worldy years. Oh don't get me wrong, life for the Gillespie clan has been no bowl of cheeries, no antless picnic, but God has rewarded our hard work with a life that even the richest bank account could not buy.
We have lived in one of the most beautiful and safest areas of our country for the past 18 years. Bellingham, WA. in The Pacific Northwest, Just 20 miles south of the Canadian boarder and 90 miles north of Seattle. We have the orcas in the waters of Puget Sound to the west and a year round snow capped Mt. Baker at our door.
I have had 3 health concerns in the past 15 years, cancer and 2 angioplasties, all three which were extremely close to adding me to our classes deceased list.
I am extremely sad to read of all our deceased classmates. I have jointly owned and sold a successful heating & A/C business, cause "Homey no longer wants to play that game" and am currently finishing a 2 year remodel on our home. Won't Robin be glad when it's done!
I would like to commend our class sponsors and web masters for their incredible dedication and hard work to a worthwhile endeavor. Life is short and uncertain. There will probally be fewer classmates reading the web site or attending the 2017 reunion. Boy have we all gotten old, huh? Yes "WE".
God Bless you all. I hope you find inner peace and God's love as I have.
ALL HAIL TO TLHS. THE CLASS OF "77" WE ROCKED,DIDN'T WE!
