Today's Featured Biography
Kent Mogler
Mary and I have been blessed with four wonderful children and thanks to you all for eating Big G cereals and Yoplait yogurt, I get a paycheck. We bought out our cross-town competitor (The Pillsbury Company -- yea, the doughboy that giggles). Along with him came the Jolly Green Giant, Old El Paso tacos, Progresso Soups and a few other products. I've had the privelege of working in manufacturing and bringing together the finance organization across 50 plants in US, Canada, and Mexico. A lot like farming, there's always work to do. I'm in my eighth (and final) year of serving on the local school board --& paid by the tax payers of MN -- pay doesn't go too far and most phone calls are not to thank you for your service. We too have aging buildings, declining enrollments, and 25% of students do not speak english as their primary language. I had the honor to speak on behalf of the Board at Braden's graduation and sign his diploma. To each of you, thanks for giving your children a dad and mom who love each other and their children. If you go to the Lyon County Fair, you may meet our youngest son Micah. He's usually there "helping" his Mogler cousins. He enjoys the farm and fair! Most of all, we enjoy our church family in the Cities. Like I was raised, we attend the Apostolic Church. If we don't make it down to the reunion, my regards to all.
