After high school I went to UNI for 2 years and then went to Schoitz Hospital for 2 years and trained to be an X-ray Technologist. I then moved to Rochester, MN to work at the Mayo Clinic. I have worked there for 31 years. I have been certified as a CT Technologist and have spent most of my time in that part of Radiology.
I celebrated 25 years of marriage with my life partner, Doug in November last year. We have 2 children. Jennifer is 23 and Daniel is 18.
I enjoy golf and gardening. I am active in Beta Sigma Phi and at Church of the Resurrection.
Doug and I are pretty busy parenting our parents at this stage of life. Sometime down the road we hope to find volunteer opportunities.
7-5-09 I plan to be at the Saturday activities. See you all then.
5-20-2025. I have been retired since 2017 and am enjoying life. One of the first things I did after retiring was to start attending daily Mass which has been very enriching. I still enjoy golf, gardening, cooking, and sewing. I’m still involved in Beta Sigma Phi. I volunteer at church as a sacristan, Eucharistic minister, garden committee, and with funeral lunches. Doug and I are still active home visitors for St. Vincent de Paul and we distribute communion at Methodist Hospital. I am a volunteer driver for Elder Network. We have one nine year old granddaughter in the Twin Cities who keeps us entertained. Our son got engaged in February and we will be adding a wonderful daughter in law to our family in October.
