Brandon Turnbow

After graduation, I moved to ND to stay with my sister for a little while and ended up playing football @ Minot State. I met my wife in 2000 and moved to Minneapolis, MN to attend a Bible college that same year. Kate and I where married in 2002. In 2003, I took a job in Memphis with Grainger. We lived there for about three years where we added to our family; Kaydn Rye (my son). In 2006 after Kate finished her degree, we moved to SD where she took the position of lead reporter for the Capital Journal. I bought a semi and started driving truck. After about a year of that, I became tired of leaving my family home alone for long periods of time, and started looking for a job. We moved back to North Dakota where I sold my truck and trailer and started my career with Reynolds Insurance Agency as an Insurance Agent in Stanley, ND. In 2008 I became an assistant football coach for the Stanley/Powers Lake Blue Jays. In 2011 we won a State Championship and after 23 straight wins we lost in the state semi finals in 2012 which was the last game I was able to be a part of. Not only was I a part of a championship winning coaching staff in 2011, but we also had Nehemiah in 2011. In 2013 we bought my wife's grandmother's farmstead and moved out to the farm. We have now accumulated what I refer to as my wife's "petting zoo" although my oldest boy does show a few of the animals for 4H. My wife now home schools our 2 older boys and still finds to time to do some free-lance writing, some short stories but mostly on her blog. Kaydn is now 11 years old and is about to finish the fifth grade. Last fall, Kaydn finished his 3rd season playing full contact football. Nehemiah is very excited for tee-ball to start this summer and will start kindergarten this fall. We just added out 3rd boy just 2 weeks ago. After 8 years with Reynolds Insurance I made partner. I no longer coach as I no longer have the time to dedicate to the program although maybe in the future I will return to coaching on a volunteer basis once my son enters high school.

I had all but forgotten about this page until I received a random email earlier today. I know many of us keep up on Facebook, but I really do not post much of anything there.

I look forward to seeing you all at our 20 year reunion coming up in just 2 short years. Not sure who is planning it or what we are doing but we do all need to get together again, especially since I was unable to attend the last one.
