Today's Featured Biography
Michele Barkman Walker
After graduation I spent a year in the Netherlands as an exchange student. I graduated from Hope College with a pre-law/political science degree. I then moved to Atlanta and attended the National Center for Paralegal Training. I married my husband Wes in 1998 and we currently live about 35 miles southeast of Birmingham. We have a daughter named Annika, she's 6 and she's a daddy's girl, athletic and artistic. Wes is a wildlife biologist and has his own business, Alabama Wildlife Solutions and so does Annika, hers is called Peanut's Wigglers. She sells worms for bait. I am currently working as a Labor and Empoyment paralegal for a large firm in downtown Birmingham. Wes played a little football at Auburn (War Eagle!) so we enjoy going to the games and having parties at his family's home in Auburn. Of course, we have to be Nascar fans since we live close to Talladega Raceway. (Yes, I'm an official Southerner now. I have a pick-up truck in the driveway, a bass boat in the backyard, a hat with a Nascar number on it, and a pit bull). We love spending time at the beach and we try to maintain a garden. We are both active in our local Methodist church and Wes coaches little league football. That's the past 20 years in a nutshell!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
