Lisa Haines Wimmer

I moved to Oscoda about 2 weeks after graduation. Still here all this time later. Same guy, married Helmut in 1990, I was dating him our senior year of school. Now 20 years from graduation, I have achieved some of my dreams. Three great boys, college education, a fabulous job. Life is busy and for the life of me I can't figure out how it got to be our 20th class reunion. We can't possibly be that old.
My husband and I enjoy taking our old cars to car shows around the state. He has two '69 grand prix's (one is showable the other is working on it), and I have a '70 mgb. The boys are 17, 15, and 11. They stay active in baseball, basketball, soccer, and the youngest plays in the school band. The oldest plays in a local band, and enjoys acting in community theater.

I still enjoy some of the same things I did in school, reading, music, cooking, sewing. I work 3 days a week and the rest of the time I usually have running to do for one of the kids. We love to go to Saginaw to shop, as that is the closest mall to us. (2 hours but that is ok.) My husband owns his own business so thankfully he is very busy in this time of the economy sucking. The oldest will be graduating this next school year, with his younger brother the year after him. Both excell in school, unlike their mother who just didn't give a damn about grades or staying in class, Daniel will be heading off to Saginaw Valley for a career in political journalism, and Michael wants to go to U of M to get a medical degree in pediatric endocrinology. The youngest son Johnathon says he is going to move into a motor home in our driveway with his wife and work with his dad. (as anyone with kids knows these could change drastically in the next years to come.)
So that is a little about me and my life since school. Later
