I have been married to Jim for 46 wonderful years. We have two sons and one adorable granddaughter. We have lived in Philadelphia, Chicago, Bismarck and currently reside in Golden Valley.
I spent my working years in the financial industry, 24 years with the Federal Reserve System, ten years at First Bank and eight years at U.S. Trust where I retired as a trust officer almost two years ago. I love my retired life!
Retirement has allowed us to travel a lot and spend time with our sons. One son is in Bloomington, IN where he is on staff at Indiana University and the other son is in Dallas where he works in property management in Dallas and Aspen, CO. Texas is not where I want to live but we manage to visit our son in Dallas every couple months so we can be a part of our granddaughter’s life. We also spend time in California each year.
I also frequently visit Sharon Carlson Johnson, in Cincinnati. Sharon and I make several trips together each year. We love knitting and quilting trips or just going up to northern Minnesota for a few days.
A couple years out of high school Shirley Bloom Settje and I took a trip to Portland to visit my relatives. Shirley returned to Portland and married my cousin. It was a treat to have a good friend become a family member. Shirley lost her battle with cancer this week. I will miss her immensely.
Unfortunately, I will not be at the reunion as I will be on my way to Bloomington and Cincinnati. Hope you have a wonderful event. Would love to hear from classmates.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
