April 1, 2017: I started out serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy. I've been working for AT&T for 40 years, now. the first 20 were in Duluth, and the last 20 in Minneapolis.
I was married to Jean Latto (class of '75) for over 25 years. Even though we've been divorced for about 17 years now, I still have to thank her for the 2 terriffic children, and awesome grandsons, and a wonderful brother-in-law, who is still my best friend.
The good Lord has blessed me with a pretty good life, great Christian friends, and an awesome church. I have been active in choir, bible studies, went on a mission trip to Guatamala, and went to Israel for 2 weeks in 2010.
I stay active by playing pickle ball as often as possible, ride bicycle, and play in a horseshoe league in Summer. I also enjoy deer hunting at our family cabin near Two Harbors, and fishing trips to places like the BWCA. I also usually go on camping trips somewhere in the U.S. with a wonderful wife, our 6 adult children & 8 grandchildren.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you, and catching up on everything!
2022 Update:
I retired from AT&T on April 15, 2019 after 42 years and 1 day.
As empty nesters, my wife and I wanted to downsize, but ended up upgrading. We bought a nice home near St Francis on the Ponds golf course. I joined the St Francis American Legion, where I serve on the color guard.
I’ve also been a part of a Christian based nonprofit called Fishing For Life since 2013. We volunteer at Bible camps as fishing guides. We also do a pheasant camp, turkey camp, deer hunting camp for kids. We also hook up with Wounded Warrior project to take veterans out fishing and hunting.
We‘be upped our grandchild count to 10. Fletcher, Anna, Sarina, Renee, Alexandra, Skylar, Foster, Elijah, Finnigan and Scarlet.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next month and catching up on life. Not sure that I’ll recognize all the really old people that I went to school with, though.
