Today's Featured Biography
Scott Smiley
After my junior year at Chrisman, despite my begging not to, my parents sold the house and moved us to Sunrise, Florida, which is just outside of Fort Lauderdale. It was a very difficult transition moving to a new HS in my senior year and not knowing ANYBODY.
I went to Mill Creek, Chrisman Jr., and Bridger before Chrisman, so I've known many of you since we were children. Therefore, even though I didn't get to graduate with you all, I still consider myself in the graduating class of '87 at Chrisman and fully intend on attending the reunion this summer. (If that's okay with you guys)
I now live with my wife and son in the city of Wilton Manors (middle of Fort Lauderdale), Florida. It's great down here. We do a lot of boating, a lot of social events and partying. I must say that life is really really good and probably better than I ever thought it would be. (Call me if you're ever in town!)
I practice Intellectual Property law (i.e., patent, trademark, and copyright) in Hollywood, Florida. I worked in Sunnyvale CA briefly and am now with a firm back here in South Florida. I measure my success by the number of clients that refer other clients to me and I've been very lucky in that regard.
I can't wait to see you all this summer.
