Today's Featured Biography
Kimberly Stiles McCall
Where do you start after 20 years have gone by?? After graduation I went to UMKC for a semester, found a good job, dropped out of school to get married in 1989 and move 2000 miles away from home, moved back to Independence, got divorced in 1991...
I am sure it was the best thing for both of us or we would have ended up on Jerry Springer.
Kept working, enjoyed dating again and living on my own, moved to Overland Park. I met my husband, John, in 1992, when his friend spilled a drink on me at Senor Frogs(did anyone else frequent there?I know that Erica Cubis (spelling?) used to work there. It is a miracle we ever met since he was originally from Topeka and was going to college in Michigan but just happened to be home on winter break...we almost met years before at the Monster's of Rock concert at Arrowhead...anyone else attend that??lol
Anyway, We lived together for a while, bought a house and finally got married in 1997. I also changed career's at the same time and started selling real estate. When we were finally blessed with our son, Connor, in Feb. 2003 after years of trying, I quit working to stay at home. It's been wonderful. I am hoping to get back into real estate once Connor starts school but for now I make a little extra cash through being the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for WeddingCookie.com. (change of plans...) Connor started school this year but we had our second son, Chance in Oct 2008 so I will most likely stay at home a while longer until I figure out a way to work from home cause the real estate market isn't what it used to be,lol. John's career took some turns in 2008 and is now working for C&D Technologies but still in sales. Looking forward to the next reunion.
