oh what tangled webs we weave for ourselves.
i could drone on and on about my life success but really it all boils down to all of us comparing our lives to one another, just like in high school. I grin typng this thinking of everyone's personal reaction to that. it's undeniably true though. One from the Class of ol' 98 could wander onto this site, maybe out of curiousity, maybe out of self-pity, shit who knows... the point being it is inherently interesting to know about the lives that we saw in molten form, now solidifying into what they will be in life, or even what they have already become. So, of course, it begs the question, why did I arrive here. My wife Amy was expressing her concerns for her upcoming 10 yr reunion (you did the math correctly, she is older than me, by 1yr) and it got me thinking about my youthful days, joyfully romping through those illustrious halls of Oak Park. Wow, have you ever told yourself, "Man, if I knew then what I know now !!" Yeah well, I did. And it sure as hell wasn't any fun. The "faculty" jeering you at every turn made available to them. What an enormous happenstance, gathering of insecure children that work and toil in the very place that mentally (and literally), they themselves can never escape.... Oh shit, I left my soapbox out again, and to think if only i would have paid more attention to detail and applied my self better maybe i would have learned to keep my things a bit tidier.
Oh well, my cross to bear. AND thank goodness it's not a religious cross. Please people, the God thing was cool when you went to "youth group" meetings meet chicks.
BUT,Man.... some you guys are taking this shit seriously.
It's a crutch guys. Let it go. Religion is so self-depricating. Can you not muster anymore self-respect than to tell yourself that none of what you achieve could have been at all possible without the help of some fictional deity, that was solely invented to take your money. A tithe of 10 to 15 percent for some denominations of faith....
I believe i did see some college graduates out there.
Take a business course. The supply is faith, and there's plenty. The one thing that still demands it is your stupidity and lack of self-worth. Break the chain and wake up. If jesus was coming back, he would have done it by know.... music today already sucks. if not for that reason alone, help me out here, I can't think of another.
