Mike Crouse
Graduates of Mandan, I commend you on directing yourself to my biography.
The past ten years has allowed me to expand in both mind and body. I began this journey of self-expansion by attending UND. Many intriguing events took place in my years at UND: won a national championship in football, became a rugby superstar (until the bloody brain massacre), met my darling of a spouse Shanna, spent more days than anyone could imagine with Kirby Fleck, spring fest, etc…..
After college I traveled west, as our ancestors did back in the day, and came back to Mandan. First I was able to help today’s troubled youth by working at the youth correctional center (other wise known as S.I.S.). Now days my employment is with the Bismarck public schools, I lay down the law of Mike at Watcher Middle School in Bismarck. If the world was ran by 12 year olds I would rule it with an iron fist. Between the job transitions I found time to marry my dear Shanna, we held hands, and then made a baby.
After getting married and making babies, I rediscovered my true talent: Eating!!! Last summer I was the Egg Roll Eating Champion of North Dakota. I took my talents to Minot where I challenged those that dare for the Pie Eating Crown. I under estimated a few of my opponents and the viscosity of certain pie fillings. After many hours of practice and watching film, I feel that 2007 is year that I will walk away with the Pie Crown. Some say that pie might not be my calling and I should stay focused on egg rolls. I say to achieve greatest in ONE food is crumbs compared to achieving greatness in ALL.
