Nancy Flesher
Live in Tucson AZ but travel 5-6 months of the years to escape the AZ Heat in an RV (that is called a 'Sunbird'). Have traveled all over the world but not all the countries as yet.....give me time.
After Graduation I entered Nurses Training at Nebraska Methodist Hospital and then worked there in Obstetrics, which became my specialty. I married in Oct. '60 and divorced 3 years later. In January of 1965 I departed Omaha as a 1st Lieutenant Nurse in the Air Force. During my 22 ½ years of military service I lived in 6 US States (Alabama, Virginia, New York, Florida, California, Florida again and Arizona). My overseas assignments were France, Germany and Okinawa. During my Military career I traveled in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, behind the Iron Curtain of Berlin, Okinawa, China , Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Caribbean and of course the US along with the middle and western Providences of Canada. After retiring in 1986 I decided I need work no more! Have since lived the easy life of relaxing, fun and RVing.
I met the ‘love of my life’, Roger, in an RV Campground in northern Arizona Oct 1992 and we were married December 2001. We did a honeymoon cruise in South America. Yes, I kept my maiden name. Roger is a WWII & Korean War veteran, retired school teacher, coach, sports official and an avid golfer. I also took up golf. We both love to golf and travel the RV life style and are ‘on-the-road’ 5-6 months each year. Traveling in an RV is the greatest! We have traveled in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Holland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, China, all 5 Canadian Atlantic Provinces and, of course, we are traveling all over the US.
Lost the love of my life 3 Aug 2014.
