Today's Featured Biography
Marcy Harbeck Camp
After High School, I attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE for two years. I dropped out of college due to what I now know was symptoms of depression, and started working at Bethphage Mission, now Mosaic. I moved back to Omaha and shacked up with my husband-to-be while he completed his student teaching at South High. Got married to Bob Camp (he is from Colorado and we met in college) in Jan 1996. We moved to Wichita, KS to be closer to his family in 1997. I worked at a placed called Starkey Inc as a House Manager and then a Work Trainer for individuals diagnosed with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. In 2001, I started a new career in Mental Health as a Unit Coordinator at the Breakthrough Club. I held several different positions at Breakthrough Club. My job duties included job development, job coaching, conducting orientation of new members, creating a monthly newsletter, and providing support to individuals diagnosed with a Severe and Persistant Mental Illness.
I am beginning a new job for Comcare of Sedgwick County on Feb 26, 2007. My title will be Community Integration Program Group Leader. I will be conducting psychosocial groups for individuals suffering from mental illness.
My husband also works in the mental health field, but is looking to expand his career options and obtain employment that is not in the social services field.
We do not have any children yet. Maybe one day we will be blessed with a child. However, it is doubtful as I am most likely not able to have children. We do have two dogs and two cats though.
I would love to hear from people who attended South High and knew me. My memory has suffered over the years and I don't remember much from High School. However, when someone mentions an event, i can usually recall it. I would like to remember my past with the help of my former classmates. Plus, it is fun to catch up!!!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
