Today's Featured Biography
michael charles, now only Charlie meisler micellar
Came from a US Navy family. My dad was ONI for 25 years and we relocated from Connecticut to Teaneck in 1966 and finished high school there, Have no real connection to New Jersey except for my HS diploma. Graduated Univ. of Rhode Island 1/1972 and was employed by the DOD and subsequently trained as ARMY RECON UH1 Helo pilot at Ft. Rucker, Ala and sent to Da Nang, Vietnam, as part of the group known as the "ninety day wonders" on October 17, 1972. Remained in SE Asia until the just prior to the EVAC of Saigon, 4/30/1975. Returned stateside and enrolled at The Vermont Law School, where I graduated in 1977. Spent three years at EPA in Atlanta, where my only son was born in '79. Relocated to Florida in 1981 and became a special asst to the Governor of Florida, Bob Graham and subsequently went into the private practice of law in Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs until 1998 when I relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico and became a partner in the law firm of Romero, Meisler and Romero. Was diagnosed with Hodgkins(non-invasive) Lymphnoma in 1999 and while undergoing treatment enrolled at the University of New Mexico medical school. Graduated medical school in 2003 and have given Uncle Sam the last fifteen years as a field trauma combat surgeons. four of my daughters are married asnd are mothers of my six grandchildren. My second wife died tragically in 2004. My youngest daughter Christina resides with her mother in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is thirteen.
