I graduated NMSU in 1979 and married Sharon (LCHS grad, cousin of MHS '75 Skip Davenport) in 1980. We just celebrated our 35th anniversary, and have immensely enjoyed life together, with moves across the years to 10 different towns in 6 states and twice to Germany, thanks mainly to my more than 30 years working as a civilian Human Resources employee of the Dept of Defense. Sharon is a Sign Language interpreter and educational aid in a special needs school. We have two terrific children, Shannon and Eric, who have both married and grown into hard-working, creative, generous, thoughtful, and caring adults (despite our best efforts!) No grandkids, yet, but they will come in due time. We've most recently spent 9 years in Manassas Park VA and commute by train into our jobs in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area. We love the opportunties to sightsee and visit museums and cultural events in this area and along the Atlantic coastal region, and are making plans for the next stage of our lives together (we are already empty-nesters, but may be thinking of second careers and/or retirement and learning to be grandparents!)
