I hope nobody minds me intruding on your class information page. I didn't finish school with the class like I should have, but I think about my "long-lost" friends a lot, it was very nice to look at the pictures and take a little stroll down memory lane. I really wish I could have been there, but didn't think it was appropriate. I left Rancho in 1982, joined the Navy in 1983 and stayed in for 20 years, I retired in October 2003. I married Jenny Hovestadt in June 1983, we had 2 children together (Ryan and Stephanie)(yeah, I know, we started way too young!), divorced in 1990 and I kept custody of Ryan and Stephanie. I married Charlene in February of 1991, we have 1 daughter together (Amanda). Being in the Navy, we have lived in several different places, MS, FL, TX and VA, but settled in Texas because I fell in Love with this place, and Charlene is from this area. After I retired from the Navy I went to work for the UT system at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, as the assistant to the Associate Dean for IT in the School of Nursing (how bad can life be?), I'm having a blast! I would love to get back in touch with any of you who remember me from J.D. Smith or my short time at Rancho, please call or e-mail me anytime, it is even OK to call me at work.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
