Today's Featured Biography
Mike Zupan
Well the year after high school I had moved in with my then g/f at her home, as she was in her senior year of school and I worked full time, hence the only way I'd be able to see her. The January after i graduated I had an asthma attack that flatlined me, due to allergies to dogs and cats that I somehow developed.
But afterwards it was all good, moved back home so I could get away from the pets, and ended up in the fall of 2002 going SCCC for a semester. I did really well but the college thing wasn't for me.
I continued to work for BJ's Wholesale Club which I ended up quitting due to reasons of... ah, who am I kidding. They were just plain awful and didn't know what they were doing. I'm a hard worker and needed to go somewhere where I am appreciated. I started working for the Albany Marriott October 2003, and somehow ended up recieving the 'Service Excellence Award' out of 300 some odd employees for 2003. I had recieved employee of the quarter for the first quarter of 2004, and have been nominated for such just about every month so far. Looked good to move up there. I was a new hire trainer, was a supervisor in my position as well.
The Marriott is now a part time gig for me though. I work full time as an assistant manager at KB Toys and I'm still a supervisor at Marriott... just part time. I got married to my girl in July of 2005, and I'm very happy.
Leisurely, I like metal. I love metal bands, like to go to shows, and I love movies. For some time I did some reviews on the most well recognized DVD site on the web, but had to cut it out as it didn't pay anything besides free DVD's. It just took too much time out of me.
