Today's Featured Biography

Beverly Byrne

After graduating, I worked for the National Bank & Trust Co. (now NBT) until 1964. I then worked at C&U Telephone Co. (now Frontier) until I moved to Syracuse, NY in 1966. I worked in Syracuse for 30 years, first in a bank (now Chase) and then in a law firm. I have had many odd jobs over the years also. I married and then divorced. I have 2 children Rollins 37 and Cheyenne 37. I have 5 grandchildren. After 35 years, I moved back to Norwich and bought a house 1 number away from the house I grew up in. I worked at Circulars Unlimited until I retired in 2007. I met my wonderful partner Bob Cevasco about 7 years ago and he took me to paradise. We are in Florida 9 months and come back to Norwich for the summer to see our children and grandchildren. Since my retirement, I joined the Social Club in our park as their Secretary. Then the Homeowners Assn. liked me so much I became their Secretary/Treasurer. Then I got real stupid and decided to create a newsletter for our 3 parks of 200+ units. Bob told me enough was enough and so I dropped out of my duties in the Social Club and Homeowners Assn. Now I just do the newsletter which went from 2 pages to 20 in a matter of a few years.
