Today's Featured Biography
Beth McNeal
Yes, I work for Cincinnati Sewage Treatment Plant. I'm the one who churns the sewage to make it into one giant liquid poo. Once I am finished churning the glorified diarrhea, it is sent through a pipe to the location in the plant where it is hardened into fertilizer pellets for farms in the tri-state. The "pooper pellets" (as we call them in the biz) are used to fertilize corn, canteloupe and other agricultural products that you and I eat on a daily basis.
See how this world comes full circle? God love it.
Back to the plant... You know how there was that scientific study where a live rat was constantly poked on the head with a needle and eventually he got numb to it? That's how I am with churning the pot of poo. My olfactory glands have deadend and now I can't even smell the roses my lover, Matt Hoyt, sends me.
With a potential last name of Hoyt (I'm talking about myself right now, not Matt), you'd think I'd have a more "Hoyt-ee Toy-tee" job. I guess you could say that, but its more of the Toitee than it is Hoitee. Did you get that play on words? I'm dating Matt Hoyt....and working in the largest toilet in Cincinnati!
What else is new in my life?
Well, I'm the proud owner of a house plant named Lionel. I named the plant after Lionel Richie.
I got really into Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton's reality tv show....and then I started researching Nicole Richie. (By the way, it's a shame Kim Stewart is on this year instead of Nicole. Yuck to Rod and Kim Stewart!) I just love Nicole. That's when I started listening to Lionel Richie. Every time I did an internet search for Nicole Richie, I'd pop in the Richie albums "Back to Front" and his self-titled "Lionel Richie." And I'd be dancing on the ceiling in no time.
When Matt got me the house plant as my ONLY Christmas present, I thought Lionel was a better name for a plant than Nicole.
Plus, I was listening to "Hello" on my iPod all the time....and watching the "Hello" and "Everlasting Love (featuring Diana Ross)" videos any chance I got.
Okay, back to my Nicole research. I'm hoping I can figure out where her wedding is to DJ AM...and Matt will fly me there as my Christmas present this year. After a house plant last year, he owes me big this year!
