Today's Featured Biography
Bill Walsh
I, like Jack Korthals and Mike Lavigna wandered aimlessly in a haze throughout hills and valleys of the Buckeye state until I landed in beautiful Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State University. While there I also ran into Ed Fitzgerald, who at the time, was defending our country while based at a top secret Air Force base, also in Columbus. We spent many days and nights in serious conversation about the future of our country and ourselves. The insight I gained from Ed prompted me to move to Kent State University where I was instrumental in starting the famous riots which were ultimately settled by the National Guard. We really owe that one to Ed. and his militaristic views of the world. Upon graduation I again vaguely remember traveling the country with Bill James, who was and stil is in a haze, sadly to say, a natural, not drug induced haze. I returned to Ohio where I began working as a Probation Officer. I turned that job over to Ken Thomas, who completely revamped the Probation System in Cuyahoga County. Finally, I moved to sunny Florida where after several careers I finally settled on Mental Health. Somewhat ironic I would say. I am the Director of Admissions for a private psychiatric hospital and I receive guidance from Jack Korthals who is a local attorney, and from Richard Stegura who has an enormously successful gutter business in Largo, Florida on the West Coast. To give and example of why Richard was so successful, he developed the now world renown system of anchoring his house to the ground with duct tape for hurricane prevention. As you know we've had 2 major hurricanes in the past year and Richard's house still stands. Richard's success has put him in the same category as, lets say, Brittany Spears or Paris Hilton, at least in Florida. The guy can't even go out of the house without being mobbed. Well, I digress, so I'll wrap it up now.
