Stephanie Giles Chairez

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently living in a small town outside of Bakersfield, CA. My husband works on the Navy base as a Department of Defense employee (he's an Electrical Engineer). We moved here around 7 years ago after Richard completed his Master's Degree.
I have a 16 year old son-Colin who lives with Adoptive parents in NY (it's an Open Adoption and we see each other and talk all the time). My husband and I have two boys ages 7-Emilio, and 4-Diego.
I'm currently a stay at home mom and absolutely love it. But going back to work in a couple of weeks at a really fun job here in town--a bounce house/inflatable fun place. It's exciting and will be lots of fun.
I was President of our local MOMS Club chapter (Moms Offering Moms Support) for the last 2 years but decided not to run again this year so that I could concentrate on taking care of myself. I'm always so busy taking care of everyone else that I have pushed myself to the back burner. Well, not anymore!! :) I'm looking forward to an exciting new year of me taking care of me!
I love to do anything outdoors: camping,hiking,swimming,geo-caching, anything that gets us out. I love to garden and putter around in my backyard. I LOVE spending time playing with my kids, love being able to act silly :) I do some scrapbooking when I can and try to read whenever I can.
