Managed up to sixty-five Sales and Marketing Representatives at one time. Bilingual in English & Spanish. Formerly StaffMasters USA, the company changed its name to ARCUS in October 2002. Was recruited in December 2000 by the Owner & President and hired in January 2001. Performed the duties of Senior Internet Recruiter, and traveled to client sites in Harrisburg, Exton, and Philadelphia, PA, and Tampa Bay, FL.

Senior IT Recruiter. Corporate office: Greenwood Village, CO. Recruit IT consultancy professionals within the field of Information Technology for the company’s South Florida Region clients. (See teaching experience.)

RAYMOND JAMES FINANCIAL – St. Petersburg, FL www.rjf.com Jun ’05 – Jul ‘05
Senior IT Recruiter. Corporate office: St. Petersburg, FL. Locations: Worldwide. Performed the
function of Senior IT Contract Recruiter on site at the Corporate Headquarters. Identified, qualified, and
interviewed candidates within all areas of IT for the company. Returned to teaching Spanish at the high
school level from August 2005 through May 2006 and still teach at the community college level in the evening.

KENDA–Tampa, FL & Harrisburg, Camp Hill, & Wayne, PA www.kenda.com Jul ’98 to Jan ‘01
Senior Global IT Recruiter. Corporate office: Salem, NH. Client locations: Worldwide. After relocating from the KENDA–Harrisburg branch to the KENDA–Tampa branch in 2000, the Tampa branch closed. Wolf Advisory, listed below, originally owned these branches of KENDA until 1996 when they were sold to Arcus Data Security, and became Arcus Staffing Resources. Arcus Staffing Resources was later bought by Iron Mountain in 1997, and was sold to KENDA in 1998. There is no relationship between Arcus Data Security / Arcus Staffing Resources and ARCUS listed above.

MGA – Clearwater, FL & Lancaster, PA www.mgatechnologies.com Jul ’97 to Jun ’98
Technical Recruiter. Corporate office: Clearwater, FL. Client locations: PA, MD, and FL. After working for MGA Technologies for eleven months in Lancaster, the company dissolved its physical office in PA. Was recruited by and returned to work as a Technical Recruiter for Wolf Advisory, which at that time was owned by Arcus Staffing Resources, and later became KENDA.

Tampa, FL & Lancaster / Wayne, PA
Candidate Specialist. Corporate office: Lancaster, PA. Client locations: Nationwide. Arcus Data Security bought Wolf Advisory in 1996 and the company’s name changed to Arcus Staffing Resources. The company was later sold to Iron Mountain. Shortly after the second buy-out, was recruited by MGA of Clearwater, FL to work in their newly established office in Lancaster, PA.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    For all six companies listed above, performed technical recruiting on-site and via telecommuting for clients’ staffing needs within the field of Information Technology and / or Telecommunications in Mainframe, Midrange, PC / Client Server, Networking, and Web-based / Internet technologies. Open requirements have been an even mix of contract, full-time / permanent, temp-to-perm, and right-to-hire.
•    Conducted face-to-face and phone interviews of candidates to qualify them for presentation to Managers, Account Managers and clients.
•    Negotiated contract rates and annual salaries with candidates, “source company” contacts, and Account Managers.
•    Traveled to and recruited on-site for clients including Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia, PA; Chase Manhattan Mortgage, Tampa, FL; LG&E (Louisville Gas & Electric), Louisville, KY; Footlocker (formerly The Venator Group and The Woolworth Corporation), Camp Hill, PA; Raymond James Financial, St. Petersburg, FL; First USA / BankOne, Wilmington, DE; and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tampa, FL.
•    Sourced candidates from the referrals, “source companies,” Internet, and company databases.
•    Explored new candidate resources from the Internet and shared them with fellow-recruiters.
•    Entered, updated, and maintained candidate profiles into company databases.
•    Reformatted candidates’ resumes for presentation to prospective employers.
•    Evaluated candidates’ professional references via telephone.
•    Provided Account Managers with job order leads.
•    Devised a “new-hire” orientation strategy to train recruiters in Arcus Staffing Resources’ NYC office.
•    Attended numerous Career Fairs and Open House functions in Lancaster, Harrisburg, Camp Hill, & Philadelphia, PA, Louisville, KY, and Tampa, FL to meet, qualify, and interview potential candidates.

•    Hired initially as a Bilingual CSR & TSR in the company’s Lancaster, PA facility while attending Millersville University of PA. Was promoted to HR Recruiter and Outbound Educator – Trainer of the CSR & TSR Department in May 1994 and transferred to the company’s York, PA facility. Was promoted to Sales Manager in November 1994 and performed HR Recruiting and Training simultaneously. Prior to leaving IMM to work for Wolf Advisory International, was promoted to Acting Facility Manager.
•    Recruited, trained, coached, and managed a team of sixty-five employees in a brand new Life, Accident & Health Insurance and Credit Card marketing call center facility in York, PA. Credit Card clients included MBNA and First USA Bank.
•    Interviewed and hired all prospective marketing and customer service representatives.
•    Conducted all new-hire and cross training.
•    Held daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings with Team Leads, Quality Assurance Monitors, other Team Managers, and Verifiers.
•    Determined daily staffing needs by “man-hours” through analysis of the number of client leads that needed to be penetrated each week. Posted and revised scheduling, as needed.
•    Maintained and updated the Auto dialer load / feed scheduling process.
•    Analyzed hourly and daily statistics to enhance “sales per hour,” “sales per rep,” and “sales per call-campaign.”
•    Maintained hourly metrics on team sales and performance and delivered these reports to upper-management on a daily basis.
•    Performed quality assurance monitoring and coaching of telemarketing sales and customer service representatives. Ensured that all CSR and TSR scripts were adhered to. Coached those CSRs and TSRs whose call evaluations were below standards.
