Today's Featured Biography
Josephine Schlosser Mainelli
After graduation, I moved to Washington DC for college (George Washington University), and ended up staying for just about 15 years. In DC I worked in public affairs/communications for various organizations, but focused mainly in the health care industry. It was an incredibly exciting time to be in DC and particularly in health care after the Clinton Administration pushed reform to the top of their agenda. In 1995 I was approached about a job opportunity back in New England working for a Boston-based consulting firm that had just won a big project with Blue Cross Blue Shield in RI,and it was about the time I was ready to make a move from DC. So I moved back to RI. To make a long story short, I ended up deciding to stay in RI beyond that consulting firm job, doing independent consulting work for other organizations and the American Heart Association. I remarried in 2000 (first time was when I was in DC), and am now semi-retired and living in Narragansett with four gorgeous labrador retrievers.

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
