Martha Mosteller Thompson
I have posted a message on the message board for everyone to read. 'Well in 25 years what can be said, Mistakes I have made them, oh well who hasn't? Regrets I also have them as I am sure there are many of you who have them and would like to re-do many things. I worked with SCDOT for 13 years only to have to go on disability, after working very hard all those years and raising my two kids mostly by myself with hardly any help, went through two bad divorces, worked myself to death and this is what I got for all the hard work - being no longer able to work, do all the things I use to enjoy such as dancing, Karoake, going to the Flea Market, spending time with my Grand-daughter Breanna (she is GAMMY's pride and joy)but now I don't get to see her much and I am unable to watch her and she is at the fun age of almost 2. I can no longer work in my yard, cut my grass, pick-up objects that most people take for granted. I was always use to working hard and being totally independand, now it is all gone for me. The best thing that has happened to me was a little over 3 years ago when me and some friends went out to karoake and get drunk, when who did I run into - Brian Evans, we talked that night, danced, and even sung together even though neither one of us knew how the other one sang, but we did a great job, since everyone in the place enjoyed our singing together. The next weekend we had our first date December 2, 2000. We have been together ever since. Girls what a waste of years I had before he came into my life. He is such a romantic, loving, caring, gentle, and most awesome MAN in the world. After my life of being used and abused, screwed around on, believe me this is just shear HEAVEN for me to finally find that one special true love in my life, I only wished it would have happenen 25 years ago and I could have had a life of happiness instead of a life of HELL!!! Well, that about lets you know how my life has been and I hope the rest of you have better or should I say had a happier life. Hope everyone shows up for this reunion, come on people it's been 25 years, surely most of us have changed. Hope to see everyone soon.
