Sharon Christmas Bowers

I got married in January after we graduated and I had my first daughter the next January.
I worked at this place called Acme nameplate for about 3 years and then I went to work at Grace Bleachery and I worked in the put-up dept. for about 10 years,If you ever worked for Springs on production then you can say that you have really worked hard I don't regret working there it makes me appreciate the Job that I have know.After I left the Put-up Dept.I then went to work at the Filter plant behind Grace that is where the water is processed for the plant and for the plants that were in Fort Lawn which they don't do anymore they only make process water to run machines not for drinking.I worked 5 years at the Filter Plant. I know work at the Catawaba River Water Treatment Plant and I feel I am so Blessed to have such a great job even though you have to get your certifications to have a job here and believe me those certification test are very hard.My husband also worked for Springs,He was offered a package deal so he could go to York Technical College so that is what he is doing know.We have two Daughters our oldest daughter Ashley was born on my Birthday Jan 22,she is know 20 and I just turned 40 our youngest daughter Brandi is 16 will soon be 17. Ashley has blessed us with a Beutiful granddaughter Jayden Elizabeth Knight We have always heard people say that there is nothing like having a grand child and they are right. I Loved both of my daughters,but their is something about that grandbaby it is almost an unexplainable Love.Something I can say that I have learned over the past 20 years since High School is that Material things make you happy only for a little while,you find true happiness in having a true christian relationship with Jesus Christ and letting him guide everything that you do and he will take care of you. Also the Love of Family and close friends means alot to me also. Well I hope that I did't write to much but that is basically what has been going on in my life for the last 20 years. Sharon Bowers
