Marian Ingram
ANOTHER UPDATE: 2008 was an absolutely incredible year! I have met the man of my dreams. In 2007 I changed positions at Arcade Marketing to accounts receivable when Elisha was promoted. I am looking forward to our next reunion next year. Boy does time fly by fast.
UPDATE: Wow, a lot has happened since the reunion, all beginning 2 days after the reunion. That is when I had my first mini-stroke. After several mini-strokes and several months out of work, I am back to being as normal as I can be. The Dr's say the biggest factor was the Depo-Provera shots so if anyone is on them, GET OFF NOW!!!! I spent several additional months in treatment but the lasting side effects are few. The positive is I've lost weight and got the medical tax deduction for 2 years, hehehaha. After the mini-strokes I was told to slow it down so I had to stop teaching water aerobics and being a youth counselor. I'm feeling so much better that I have been able to get back into horseback riding, it's still a blast.
Then, I was laid off from UNUM Provident on 3-31-06. This ended up being a blessing after all.
I found a great new job at Arcade Marketing in accounts payable. We make anything scratch-n-sniff, the perfume samples in magazines, lipstick samples in those little bubbles, stuff like that. And guess who I get to work with??? Elisha Bragg Wilson, what a great surprise to be able to work in the same dept as her. I have also been elected to the Board of Directors for the Red Bank Neighborhood Pride Association where I am the membership coordinator.

After HHS, I graduated from UTC w/ a BS: Interior Design. I worked in my field for a few years and realized in Chatt. it is who you know not what you know. Surprise, I still don't kiss up so I moved to my second choice in careers. I worked in the medical field for several years before I moved to UnumProvident where I have been for 3 yrs. I do my interior design work on the side now as well as sell Avon and I am a water aerobics instructor.
I've been divorced 8 yrs now and own a home that my cats run & I just pay for & maintain. I attend Stuart Heights Baptist Church where I am a youth counselor.
God has been very good to me. On Christmas Day '95, I had a 4-wheeler wreck and broke my leg in 2 places and my back. Living through this was the 1st miracle of many. I now have 10 inches of metal in my back, not to mention arthritis. I guess this makes up for not having metal in the mouth, braces when I was younger.
I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!
