Elizabeth Nunes Adkisson

Hey, fellow Warriors...since "classmates.com" charges you to breathe, I figured I'd see who was registered here. Yeah, technically I did not graduate in '98- I took my graduation exams halfway through our junior year so I could start college in the fall of 1997. Why so hurried? Who knows...I swear it SEEMED like a great idea at the time. Anyway, I still identify myself as being "class of 98". So sue me!

Me? Still in Austin...I managed to get as far as Houston for awhile, then Pflugerville...but ended up right back in Capital City.

I am one of the many, the proud, the married...I am amazingly blessed to be married to THE coolest person on earth...no kids as yet, but before too long I'd like to say a fond 'Adios' to career life and focus on kids. We are definitely going to adopt and who knows--we might even bless the world with some of our very own genetic legacy.

My husband is a teacher part-time and works in sales, and I'm a software engineer. Until recently, I worked for a division of 3Com but for the last few months I have done freelance work, which I enjoy for the flexible schedule it provides.

I was diagnosed with MS five years ago which has made it difficult to pursue many hobbies and interests, but I am learning to adapt more each day. Until recently (December 2007) I was in a lengthy remission and hope to be again soon.

I hope you all are doing well- even you guys that were total snotheads in high school.

God bless each of you and your rapidly growing/changing families. This "grown up" gig is pretty strange at times but it looks like c/o 98 is managing just fine. Peace to you all...again, even to the snotheads. (Who I'm sure have been rewarded in the form of kids who now act exactly like they used to!)
