Today's Featured Biography
Milt Lance
First, no you will not find my picture in the 1969 album as I opted to not have it in there. I started hanging wallpaper after high school. Starting my own business in 1974. Then I moved to Los Angeles in 1976 to help my oldest brother who was going through divorce to help pay bills while he finished college. Started Bartending in Beverly Hills. Over the next 8 years I worked in restaurants, Pubs and Discos around town part time. In 1977 I was coerced into working at the Playboy Mansion West, Holmby Hills, CA for private parties, this lasted almost 3 years and then I quit. Yeah, not too bright I guess. But it was time to. Met my first wife in a bikini (she had the bikini )on the beach playing volleyball in Santa Monica, CA and married her, Cindy in 1983. Worked for General Telephone for 4 years. Then I moved on and started a commercial and residential wallpaper business. After a few years this gave me the time to enjoy partial summers off to spend with my son at Pismo Beach riding 3 wheelers on the dunes and camping on the beach for weeks at a time. My first wife and I parted officially in 1989. In 1999 I started with Nortel Networks out of Richardson, TX. Left them in 2001. Started a wallpaper business in the DFW area and married Ginger Martin of Haltom City, Tx in 2001. She has a son 19 days older than mine. My son Jason opted to stay in LA and pursue a High School and College football career that was already planned by his coaches and him. Ginger also has a daughter Maggie that (small world) was fathered by an ex LD Bell grad - Randy Pope. I am currently selling insurance with Aflac.
