20 Year Reunion Summary |
|
We'd like to thank all of you that came to the 20 Year Reunion. It was a great success. We were very pleased with the turnout in both quantity and quality. It was great to see everyone. I was amazed at how little some had changed. The location and the food was fantastic. If you have any comments please address them to [email protected] Thanks again, John Miller, Paula Butterfield, Melissa Lewis |

Today's Featured Biography
Lisa Blohm Ravelo
I logged on and spent so much time reading profiles that I decided to put in my own. After high school, I went to BYU-Hawaii for 2 years, then came back here and finished a business degree at BYU Provo. I met Reinier while still in college and moved to California-(where he is from and had moved back to)as soon as I graduated. We were married about a year after that-15 years on the 28th of Aug.!!(The same weekend as the five year reunion, which is why I wasn't there.) I got a job with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in their management program and loved working there. I was able to transfer to Utah with them and worked until I had my first baby in 1996. We moved back to So. Jordan after about a year -what?-I swore I would never live in the same town that I grew up in. We have since moved about 2 miles down the street and live a mile away from Bingham. Scary isn't it. Not only do my kids go to the same elementary I went to, but they will also go to Bingham High! I have a wonderful hubby and 3 great kids. They keep me so busy as all of you know. I really relate to the employer box of taxi driver 24/7, but I need to add cooking, cleaning, weeding, bookkeeping etc. My baby goes to 1st grade this year, so I am waiting to see what it feels like to have more than 3 hours of free time. Oh yeah-did I mention we own 2 businesses??-guess I know where that free time is going. My husband owns a steel brokering business and we also own a dumpster business. Life is crazy, but fun. My kids are busy with soccer, gymnastics, dance and the list goes on. We also love boating and go to Lake Powell as often as we can which is usually 10-12 times a year. When the weather gets cold, we head up to the mountains. My kids are great snowboarders-yes, I still ski, some habits die hard-and love to go as often as possible. As a side note-I am happy to be attending the reunion this year-our home is for sale and when it sells, we are moving to Stuart, Florida. Reinier wants to fulfill his dream of living on the water and having a 10 min boatride to open ocean. He is tired of the 5 hour trip to Lake Powell every other weekend and done with the cold weather. I guess I can't blame him, he's done it for 14 years for me, so I am giving Fl a try! I am looking forward to seeing all of you!

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
