After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1984, I was fortunate to be hired by an Engineering firm, TRW. After being sponsored for security clearances, I began work on a software development contract in January 1985. TRW offered to pay 100% of tuition/books for a Master's Degree, so I took them up on this offer and obtained a Master's degree from Va Tech in 1992, the same year I married my wonderful wife that I met at my work office. We have been happily married now for almost 18 years!
In 1997, the Arthur family welcomed a son, Stephen, into the world. Stephen is a bundle of energy, currently playing hockey at Kettler Iceplex in Arlington, where the Capitals practice. Stephen will be entering 7th grade next year at Thoreau Middle School in Vienna VA.
In between our careers, school, and hockey, I still play tennis, which is the other sport Stephen enjoys. Tennis is a nice way to have fun, get some exercise, and learn how to be a good teammate and develop sportsmanship.
One of our other hobbies is being Season Ticketholders to the Washington Capitals games. We are still getting over their collapse in the 2010 playoffs! We are looking forward to the Caps playing in the New Years day 2011 outside game against Pittsburg. We are taking a roadtrip to PA for that game, for sure.
The Arthurs also value family time, and take frequent trips to PA to visit Emmie's brothers and sisters. Stephen has 4 cousins to play with, ranging in age of 1 to 16. So it's quite an experience each time we visit, with such a great range of ages!
When we stay in our home in Vienna, near Tyson's Corner, we enjoy simple pleasures like watching movies, sitting in our screened in porch with a cup of coffee, playing the Wii, and watching Stephen interact with his friends. He's at that age where girls are now important, so we are already becoming the protective parents, screening who he brings home. That aluminum baseball bat I've had for 30 years is now coming in handy when I meet these young women! It's amazing that I've become the same type of parent that I used to complain about when I was growing up! I guess it took me 48 years to realize how smart my parents were! Oh well, better late than never.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
