After HS I attended ECC & continued the rock band gig with Gary Montgomery and Kay Empens before entering the USCG, spending most of that time in Hawaii and Alaska.
Was married in Everett in 1977 and my son Ryan was born in '82. I was divorced in '84.
Teryl (Teri) and I were married in a hot-air ballon at Lake Tahoe in '92 and are still happily together.
I recently retired from 38 years in motorcycle industry including 7 years as the Racing & Promotions Manager in North America with a British motorcycle tire manufacturer. I traveled extensively and got pretty burned out& needed a break.....In '03 Teri and I had had enough of the rain and traffic in Washington bought a beautiful place on 10 acres just southeast of Lake Tahoe. But after 9 years, we got tired of the cold winters and moved to Las Vegas in May of 2012. I retired in March 2017 due to health issues.
We're quite the outdoor type and love hiking in the desert & mountains as well as boating on Lake Mead and traveling in our motorhome.
After fighting two types of cancer since 2012, I don't have much strength for the recreational activities that have meant so much to me over the years but very thankful I'm still around!
I spent over 20 years racing motorcycles at regional and national levels around the country and consider myself very fortunate to have been able to do something that meant so much to me..... The memories are priceless.
